This is a full-time, hands-on position with a work schedule of Monday-Friday with possible overtime. GULFSTREAM GLASS predominantly works in East Volusia County in single-family homes and condominiums as well as with some commercial storefront. Applicants must have the ability to carry / lift heavy windows and doors; ability to learn and work as a team member; ability to take instruction well and use power tools. GULFSTREAM GLASS provides all major power tools and transportation to / from the job site. 

Duties may include the following:

  • Install various fixtures and equipment according to specifications and blueprints
  • Caulking / waterproofing
  • Measure and cut materials to fit installation requirements
  • Assemble and disassemble components as needed
  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines
  • Collaborate work with team members to ensure efficient and accurate
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area

Basic skills necessary:

  • General construction experience, 1-2 years or more
  • Attention to detail
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Great attitude

Physical demands:

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time; walk and stand on uneven surfaces
  • Lift and carry at least 70 lbs.
  • Ability to climb ladders 20’ high or greater
  • Comfortable working outdoors in Florida
